Paul qualified in Physiotherapy with 1st Class Honours from Coventry University in 2007. Upon graduation, he spent several months travelling, including some time in Ghana, where he started his development as a physiotherapist volunteering in the main teaching hospital in Accra, community clinics and a variety of football teams.
On return from his travels, Paul rapidly secured his first post working in the NHS, where he worked in numerous areas including the rehabilitation of post-operative cardiothoracic transplant and VAD (ventricular assist device) implantation patients. Eventually he specialised in neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy in the NHS before working in the private sector.
Paul has completed a number of postgraduate courses, including acupuncture, muscle energy techniques and myofascial manipulation. His commitment to professional development enables him to offer a variety of treatment techniques to treat a wide variety of conditions.
Sports Physiotherapy Experience:
Paul has held positions at Henley Hawks and London Wasps Rugby, where he is now respectively the Head Physiotherapist and Academy Physiotherapist.
Paul's aim is to ultimately be involved with England Rugby. To help achieve this he intends to further develop his musculoksletal skills and expertise in sports physiotherapy through a Master of Science degree.
Outside of his busy work schedule, Paul is a keen photographer and martial artist, holding a 2nd Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate.
